How do I get it?

Your premises needs to be within the Pacific Wireless Melbourne coverage area and have line-of-sight (LoS) to one of our 15 tower sites. Before accepting your order for service, we will conduct a site inspection to confirm LoS and offer you a guaranteed installation schedule, so we won’t let you down.

Our fully trained and experienced team of engineers will design your wireless link from the ground up and install all necessary equipment to our exacting standards. All equipment is warranted by Pacific Wireless for the life of the contract.

How does it work?

Our Wireless Connect service is a wireless microwave based system that allows transmission of information without the need for a physical terrestrial connection such as copper wire or optical fibre.

Data and voice is passed from one point to another by our network base stations and a transmitter (a small antenna) located at the customer premises. The towers are connected together and then come into a central core giving you access the Internet, PSTN services and our carrier partners.

Your data is highly secure and transmissions of this type have been utilised by the military and Government Agencies for decades. It is unaffected by weather, exchange issues and backhoe line breakages. Wireless technology is one of today's most secure and reliable ways to communicate.
