Smart-DC integrates our data centre offerings seamlessly into your existing network.

By the power of our very own SmartBridge technology, you can replicate your primary systems and data to our Niche-DC (NDC) off-site backup centre with ease.

A secure tunnel is enabled to allow data to be replicated, via push or pull, to the data centre using private IP addresses.

Your servers at the NDC can also be reached over the Internet by addressing specially allocated public IPs, secured by a carrier-grade firewall.

In the event of a server failure on your primary network, external parties can reach the appropriate mirror server at the NDC whilst continuing to communicate via the primary server’s normal public IP address. Traffic is diverted by our Smartbridge to pass across the wireless connection to the NDC.

In the event of a total failure of the primary provider link, external parties can reach your primary servers via your Pacific Wireless public IP address(es).

In the event of a failure of both your primary provider link and a primary server (for example, a power outage or site disaster), external parties can reach your mirror servers at the NDC via your Pacific Wireless public IP address(es).

As with all Smart-Net options, these features can be achieved without configuration changes to your network or your primary provider’s network.
