ACA grants telecommunications licence
to Pacific Wireless
Wireless provider joins the ranks of Australia's leading telecommunications
companies.

- Pacific Wireless (Australia) Pty Ltd, a leading provider
of broadband wireless services, today announced that the Federal
Government had formally awarded the company a telecommunications
licence.
The licence was awarded by the Australian Communications Authority
on behalf of the Federal Government. As the holder of a telecommunications
licence the company has many of the same rights and obligations
as the larger telcos such as Telstra and Optus.
